Grandmaster Dan Tosh CLASS SCHEDULE WITH FEES & DESCRIPTIONS A typical class at Tosh's Karate Academy REGULAR CLASS: All ages and belt levels except for kinder-karate students. New students fit right into the regular class curriculum. Students may come to as many regular classes a week as desired. HOURS: Tuesdays and Thursdays - 1 hour classes start at 5:30pm & 7:00pm Saturdays - 1 hour class starts at 8:00am KinderKarate Class KINDER-KARATE CLASS Ages 5 to 7-8 years. This class is structured for younger children who often have a limited attention span. Kinder-karate students learn discipline and basic karate in a non-stressful atmosphere. HOURS: Wednesdays from 6:00 to 6:45pm (45 min class) Saturdays from 9:15 to 10am (45 min class) Grandmaster Tosh working with students.   Saturday - Open Class OPEN CLASS aka Regular Class: All ages and belt levels. This class allows the students to practice on their own. Blackbelt instructors are available for guidance. HOURS:  Saturdays - 8 to 9am   SUPERVISED SPARRING: This session is taught with the technical aspects of sparring in mind. HOURS:  tba Weapons Class WEAPONS CLASS: All ages - with permission from the instructor. The proper use of weapons is taught along with the appropriate katas. Some of the weapons being taught at various intervals are sai, bo, sword, kama and tonfa. HOURS:  see an instructor Blackbelts - 2010   BLACK BELT CLASS: This class is available for blackbelts only and gives the students a chance to work out at a more advanced level. All blackbelts are welcome, including former students and alumni. HOURS:  Usually the first Wednesday of each month from 7 to 8pm.  Please check with your instructors.   MONTHLY FEES Regular class is only $85.00 per month - students may attend 5 days a week. $40.00 for each additional family member. There is a registration fee of $30.00 per family. Kinderkarate (ages 5 to 7 or 8) is $60.00 per month per child with a registration fee of $30.00 per child.  This class meets twice a week only. Special Rules and Restrictions: Pay first and last months dues upon joining.  Students must give a 30 day written notice to terminate on our form.  Fees are due each month whether the student trains or not.  Students may register at the beginning or end of any class on any day.  The student simply fits into the current curriculum. The Academy is closed on all major holidays.
